Type C — the validity period is up to 90 days:
Business trip:
- a letter, issued by a legal entity in the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter of a representative office of a foreign company in the Republic of Belarus – for issuing visas for managers and employees of this representative office or for shareholders, managers and employees of a foreign company, which opened this representative office.
A business visa type can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.

Tourism:
- a letter, issued by a tourist company in the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter, issued by a sanatorium or a health resort organization in the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter, issued by an individual or a legal entity, providing services on accommodation or other tourist services in rural area;
- a ticket for a cultural (sports) event – in case of applying for a visa with validity period of no more than 2 days;
- hotel or apartment booking confirmation (for citizens of certain countries only).
A tourist visa type can be single or double entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 30 days.

Private trip (visit visa):
- an invitation, issued by an immigration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus;
- a document, which confirms family relationships with a citizen of the Republic of Belarus (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.);
- an application of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, whose signature is authenticated by an officer of an Embassy or a Consulate of the Republic of Belarus. Such an application is accepted in certain cases only. The validity period of the application is no more than 90 days after signature authentication;
- a written notification, which confirms the necessity of urgent trip to the Republic of Belarus in case of disease or death of an applicant’s close relative, including those, received by email or fax;
- a subpoena;
- a document confirming the ownership of real estate property in Belarus;
- a letter, issued by a healthcare institution in the Republic of Belarus or a medical services contract, signed by an applicant and a healthcare institution in the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter, issued by a healthcare institution in the Republic of Belarus for a foreigner, accompanying a foreigner, going to the Republic of Belarus for medical treatment
- a letter, issued by a legal entity in the Republic of Belarus for a foreigner, accompanying a foreigner, going to the Republic of Belarus for business, work or participation in sports, cultural, scientific, educational events and trainings;
- a letter, issued by an educational institution in the Republic of Belarus for a foreigner, accompanying a foreigner, going to the Republic of Belarus for taking examinations to enter this educational institution;
- a document, which confirms that an applicant was born on the territory of the Republic of Belarus;
- a permit for temporary residence in the Republic of Belarus;
- an original relatives burial site certificate or a letter of Belarus Red Cross Office or other member of International Red Cross and Crescent Movement – in case a foreigner intends to visit a burial site of a family member in the Republic of Belarus.
Participation in sports, cultural, scientific, educational events and trainings:
- a letter, issued by a legal entity in the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter (verbal note) of an Embassy or Consulate of a foreign state or international organization, accredited in the Republic of Belarus, which contains the information about the applicant and requested visa – for participants of the events, organized by this Embassy or Consulate.
This visa can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.

Studies:
- an invitation for studies, issued by an organization, which has the right to issue such invitations. An invitation for studies should be approved by an immigration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, responsible for the area, where the organization is located.
A studies visa type can be single or double entry, visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days. Upon arrival to the Republic of Belarus a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs issues a temporary residence permit and multiple exit-entry visa (if necessary).
Employment:
- a notarized copy of a special permit for employment, issued by an immigration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
An employment visa type can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.
Upon arrival to the Republic of Belarus a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs issues a temporary residence permit and multiple exit-entry visa (if necessary).
Humanitarian programmes:
- a letter, issued by the Department of Humanitarian Activities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus;
- a letter, issued by a Belarusian humanitarian organization, approved by the Department of Humanitarian Activities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus or other government authorities of the Republic of Belarus.
A humanitarian visa type can be single, double and multiple entry. Visa validity period cannot exceed 90 days.
