Belarusian Pavilion at Gulfood 2018

The Belarus Pavilion is featured at Gulfood 2018 – the key annual trade show of food products and beverages, held in Dubai, UAE, in February.

The Belarus Pavilion presents nine of the country’s major manufacturers of meat and dairy products, sweets, fish and seafood. All of them are well-known in the CIS countries, export their products to dozens of countries, have Halal and ISO certificates. The slogan of the Pavilion is ‘Belarus – the Taste of Nature’.

‘Santa Bremor’ presents a wide range of fish and seafood products under the brands ‘Santa Bremor’, ‘Russian Sea’ and ‘Matias’. The company’s products include herring, salmon, natural caviar, capelin caviar in sauce, spreads, surimi, seafood products, and sea kale. The company’s other popular delicacies are sturgeon caviar, salmon caviar, caviar of white fish species such as capelin, cod, pollock, and herring. The company also presents at the show such exquisite novelties as capelin caviar in sauce with parmesan cheese and pollock caviar, and the ‘Pate’ cod caviar. Today the company products are exported to 35 countries of the world, including the UAE, the USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Jordan, the Netherlands, and many others.

‘Servolux’ is the leading poultry company in Belarus. The company’s products, free from GMO and antibiotics, are marketed under the brand ‘ALFOOR’. ‘Servolux’ also offers ready-made solutions; unique baking technology allows to make it rich in taste without adding oil.

‘Slonim Meat Processing Plant’ has on offer top quality beef products produced in strict accordance with Halal requirements: beef on a bone (cow, bull, chilled, frozen), boneless beef (chilled, frozen), frozen beef trimming of high, first and second grade, canned beef (beef stew high grade, pearl porridge with beef, buckwheat porridge with beef, rice porridge with beef, bean stew with beef, bulgur with beef, buckwheat with beef and vegetables).

‘Krasny Pischevik’ is the oldest and legendary Belarusian manufacturer of specialty sweets. At Gulfood 2018 the company presents such products as ‘Confemillio’ jelly sweets with kiwi and strawberry filling, ‘Peanut’ dragee, ‘Raisins in chocolate’ dragee, and ‘Colorful nuts’ dragee – produced from natural ingredients in strict accordance with traditional Belarusian technology. The company’s sweets are popular in such countries as Azerbaijan, Canada, Germany, Lithuania, the USA, etc.

Five of the exhibiting Belarusian companies present dairy products of all kinds that are ecologically safe and free from preservatives and colorants. On the world stage Belarus is among the top five exporters of various dairy products; over 70% of the country’s total dairy output is exported – to as many as 44 countries.

‘Kalinkovichi Dairy Plant’ features such products as the ‘Kalinka’ instant skimmed milk powder developed from top quality raw materials by spray-drying process, which gives the final product with high quality indicators of solubility, color, taste and consistency. ‘Kalinka’ is popular among sportsmen and those preferring a healthy lifestyle. The company exports to15 countries, including Sudan and Egypt.

‘Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory’ presents condensed milk supplied in a number of volume, tare, density and flavor variations. The company’s trademark product is free from preservatives, flavor enhancers and artificial fragrances. The only food additive is natural sugar syrup. The ‘Glubokoe’ brand has been on the market for over 40 years and is presently exported to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Russia.

‘Bellakt’ is the leading Belarusian manufacturer of formula and complementary food for children. The company presents a wide range of high-quality milk powders for food industry: infant milk formulas, specialized medical infant nutrition formulas, nutrition for pregnant women and nursing mothers, instant milk-based and grain-based cereals. The high quality is ensured by a five-stage laboratory control system and closed production. Medical experts confirm the highest international standards of the ‘Bellakt’ baby food. The ‘Bellakt’ mixtures and porridges are part of various social programs throughout Russia.

‘Lida Milk Plant’s featured products include cream powder, skimmed and whole milk powder, and sweet creamy unsalted butter, frozen cottage-cheese, as well as wide range of different cheeses. The company’s production capacity allows processing up to 1100 tons of milk a day. Over 80 percent of ‘Lida Milk Plant’s produce are exported to Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and several dozens of other countries.

‘Primemilk’ presents ingredients based on sweet whey powder used for sports nutrition products and low-fat dairy products.

The Belarus Pavilion is organized by Belinterexpo – the Exhibition Company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the United Arab Emirates and Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
