Belarus and the UAE have signed Visa-Free Protocol

The signing ceremony of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports (hereinafter — the Protocol) was held on June 24, 2019 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.

On behalf of the Belarusian side, the Protocol was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Luchenok, from the Emirati Side by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Al Jarman.

In accordance with the Protocol the citizens of the Republic of Belarus, holders of the valid national passports, will be able to visit the UAE without the need to obtain entry visas.

The Protocol will enter into force 30 days after the completion by the parties of all internal legal procedures.
