On signing of MOU between the Development Bank of Belarus and Khalifa Fund

On June 5, 2017 in Abu Dhabi a Memorandum of Understanding between the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development was signed in the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the UAE H.E. Roman Golovchenko.

The MOU signed by the Chairman of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Sergei Roumas and the Chairman of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is setting up the framework for future cooperation to support small and medium enterprises development program in the Republic of Belarus. 

          The two sides discussed aspects of implementation of the program with the total financial assistance from the Emirati Side up to 25 mln. USD and agreed that KFED will be providing financial and non-financial support to the SME sector in Belarus through Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
