Hi-tech glass fiber from Belarus to be shown at the ADIPEC exhibition

One of the leading European producers of glass fiber and its derivatives – the Belarusian company Polotsk-Steklovolokno – will take part in the ADIPEC Exhibition in Abu Dhabi on November 12 – 15, Pavilion 14, Booth 14203.

To date the company has been producing almost 900 types of products which are exported to more than 50 countries, including India, China, UAE, Pakistan, USA, Japan and many others. Belarusian silica fiber is purchased by original equipment suppliers for famous foreign car makers, such as Mercedes, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Toyota.

At the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Polotsk-Steklovolokno will showcase high-temperature silica fabrics and fiber with proven resistance to temperatures above 1000°С, chemical agents, acids, alkalis and alloys. Silica materials are crucial for production of welding blankets, firefighter blankets, metal splash safety screens, insulation sleeves and cords.

The exposition will present basalt fabrics with high strength, sound proof and thermal resistance properties. Chemical qualities of this material provide for its use in a variety of corrosive environments: it can be applied as heat insulation during welding processes, in production of flameproof clothing; as heat insulation of industrial equipment, furnaces and pipelines; and in production of composite materials.

The exposition will also showcase fiber glass threads, roving and chopped fiber used for electrical insulation of winding and in production of fabrics, bands and fiber paper; structural glass mat applied as a reinforcing agent for production of composite materials; safety welding screens and firefighter blankets.
