Belarusian delegation took part in the Carnival of Cultures on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the UAE National Day

Embassy of Belarus in the UAE in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development of the UAE organized participation of the Belarusian delegation in the Carnival of Cultures organized on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the UAE National Day on 29 November – 4 December 2017.
Belarusian folk vocal and dancing ensemble “Bely Ptah” gave concerts on the stages of the cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah and Umm al-Quwain. The vivid and memorable performances were received with sincere interest and delight among numerous Emirati public and foreign guests and delegations participated in the Carnival of Cultures.
During the period from 29 November till 4 December the national stand of the Republic of Belarus had been organized in the center of Dubai. The stand attracted significant attention of the residents and guests of the city by demonstration of Belarusian national dress, folk and decorative art including master classes in woodcarving and weaving from straw that gained large popularity.
Performances of the Belarusian folk ensemble and organization of the Belarusian national stand showcased the unique, distinctive and beautiful nature of the Belarusian culture and received highest praises from both the organizers of the event and numerous guests of the Carnival.
