On changes in the UAE visa legislation

In accordance with the decision of the UAE Cabinet of June 13, 2018, within the period from August 1, 2018 until October 31, 2018 individuals, who overstay their UAE visas, have a chance to leave the country voluntarily without paying the fine and without putting a “No entry” stamp in their passports.  

Individuals, who entered the UAE illegally, also have a chance to leave the country without paying the fine, but they will be banned from visiting the UAE for the period of 2 years with putting a “No entry” stamp in their passports.

In both cases the individuals, intending to leave the UAE, are obliged to purchase air tickets themselves.
