On the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Kuwait

On July 5, 2023, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Salem Abdullah al-Jaber al-Sabah.

During the conversation, the heads of the foreign ministries of Belarus and Kuwait discussed a number of areas of bilateral cooperation, including the need to raise the level and intensify the political dialogue between the two countries in the near future, develop the legal framework, maintain a high level of interaction in international organizations. Particular attention was paid to the issues of enhancing trade and economic cooperation, resuming the work of the Joint Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation, as well as stimulating business contacts.
