National Pavilion of Belarus opened at EXPO 2020

On September 29, 2021 H.E. Alexander Guryanov, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and General Commissioner of the Belarusian Section at EXPO 2020, took part in the opening of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Belarus at World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The ceremony was also attended by H.E. Andrei Luchenok, Ambassador of Belarus to the UAE, Mr Evgeny Lazarev, Consul General of Belarus in Dubai, Mr H. Dosh, Director of General Contractor “Nussli”, and Mr Andreo Dourado, Director of the Department of International Participants of “EXPO-2020”, as well as by delegations of a number of countries participating in the Exhibition.

The key topic of the Belarusian pavilion, which can be visited until March 31, 2022, is “Forest of Future Technologies”. The exposition is divided into several zones: interactive hallway, “Export.by”, “Innovations and Investments”, “Doors to Belarus”, “Sports and Tourism”, souvenir shop and entertainment area.

Among the key elements of the pavilion's program are National Day of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Investment Forum, Days of Tourism and Science, as well as Days of the Belarusian regions and the city of Minsk with performances by famous Belarusian folk music and dance ensembles.

The grand opening of EXPO 2020 World Exhibition will take place on September 30, 2021.
