National day of the Republic of Belarus at EXPO 2020

On November 22, 2021, EXPO-2020 in Dubai witnessed the National Day of the Republic of Belarus. As part of the official program, the opening ceremony of the National Day, various business and cultural events were held.

The Belarusian delegation at the National Day was led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, who had talks with the General Commissioner of the EXPO 2020, the Minister of Tolerance of the UAE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the General Director of EXPO 2020, the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the UAE Rima bint Ibrahim al-Hashimi.

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko also opened the Belarusian investment forum, which was attended by over a hundred businessmen from Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.

An extensive cultural program with the participation of Belarusian artists was also presented during the National Day.

Concerts of Belarusian music were held both on the stage of the Belarusian pavilion and as part of an evening gala concert with the participation of the State Academic Dance Ensemble of Belarus.
