On the meeting of Ambassador of Belarus in the UAE with the Director General of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology

On May 24, 2018 in Dubai the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the United Arab Emirates HE Roman Golovchenko met with the Director General of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology HE Abdulla Abdelqader Al Maeeni.
The parties discussed the issues of expediting cooperation in sphere of standardization, metrology, accreditation, conformity assessment as well as issues of creating legal basis for cooperation in those areas.
It was agreed that the delegation from the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology will visit the Republic of Belarus in the nearest future in order to hold a seminar for the interested Belarusian agricultural entities about the procedures of acquiring of “Halal” certificate in accordance with the UAE legislation.
