Vice Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology visits Minsk
27.07.2016On 21 – 27 July 2016 H.E. Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Vice Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology paid a visit to the Republic of Belarus.
Agreement on Scientific Cooperation and Collaboration in the Field of Scientific Personnel Training between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology was signed during the meeting with H.E. Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The document provides for exchange of scientific information, organization of mutual visits of scientists and researchers, arrangement of joint seminars, symposia, scientific staff training programs and provision of scholarships.
Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi also visited the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the Belarusian National Technical University where he held discussions with the leadership of the above higher education institutions on a scope of priority avenues for development of interuniversity collaboration, particularly in the sphere of scientific research.
