Ambassador of Belarus Roman Golovchenko held meetings with Kuwaiti officials

On April 4, 2017 the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE and Kuwait (concurrently accredited), Roman Golovchenko, held meetings with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Countries of Kuwait Mr. Walid Al-Khubaizi and Deputy Director General of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Hamad Al-Omar.

During the meeting in Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry the sides discussed the whole range of issues related to the bilateral relations between the Republic of Belarus and the State of Kuwait with the special attention paid to the trade and economic dimension of cooperation.



The action plan aimed at intensification of mutual cooperation in political, trade and economic, humanitarian areas in 2017-2018 was reviewed.

The sides substantively studied the existing legal framework of bilateral relations and ways of its further expansion as well as cooperation between Belarus and Kuwait at the margins of international organizations.



During the meeting in Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry the sides discussed the current state of the Belarusian-Kuwaiti trade and economic cooperation and perspectives of its further enhancement, exchanged views on certain steps to be undertaken to increase mutual trade turnover, agreed upon visit exchange of representatives of business communities and attraction of organizations of both countries to participatе in specialized exhibitions.
