On Halal certification webinar

Under the auspices of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the assistance of the Consulate General of Belarus in Dubai, on June 17, 2021, a webinar was held for Belarusian organizations on the procedure for obtaining a UAE Halal certificate.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Alexei Bogdanov, Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, about 100 representatives of Belarusian government bodies and exporting enterprises took part in the webinar on behalf of the Belarusian side. From the Emirati side, the UAE Deputy Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Omar al-Suweidi and other representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies responsible for the application and control over compliance with the procedure for obtaining UAE Halal certificates, took part in the webinar.

Participants of the webinar had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the most relevant requirements for obtaining United Arab Emirates Halal certificates as well as with the procedure for issuing the same in Belarus and verifying it in the United Arab Emirates.
