COVID-19: New rules for travelers to Belarus
15.10.2020If you are planning to visit Belarus, please, check before your travel information on our website, websites of the Health Service , National Airport Minsk and Border force as well as information from your carrier.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, starting from November 1, 2020 Belarusian authorities suspended entry to the Republic of Belarus by all types of transport (except AIR) for foreigners & stateless persons, with an exeption of:
- foreigners — part-time/permanent residents of Belarus;
- foreigners married to citizens of Belarus, having parents, children — Belarusian citizenship;
- foreigners with work permit in the Republic of Belarus;
- foreigners, entering Belarus in connection of severe illness or decease of the close relative.
Please be advised that upon arrival you may be a subject for screening measures (temperature checks etc., and health/travel questions) and be quarantined if COVID-19 is suspected.
• included in the List of the countries in which cases of COVID-19 infection are registered;
• not included in the List, traveling with a stopover through the countries included in the List, if these persons do not have documentary evidence of their stay in the countries of transit for no more than 24 hours.
Foreigners and stateless persons, with the exception of permanent residents in Belarus, who arrived from countries not included in the List of countries in which cases of COVID-19 infection are registered, when crossing the State Border of Belarus must have an original medical document (in Russian, Belarusian or English) confirming a negative laboratory test for infection COVID-19 completed no later than 72 hours before the date of crossing the State Border.
