Belarus at Gulfood 2021

From 21 to 25 February 2021, the Gulfood food exhibition is being held in Dubai (UAE), within the framework of which a Belarusian exposition of food and food products has been launched. 12 Belarusian enterprises take part in the exhibition, products of 25 companies are presented, which is a record figure in the entire history of Belarus' participation in Gulfood.

The exhibition is also attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Igor Brylo, Deputy Chairman of the concern “Belgospischeprom” Alexander Yakovchits and Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich. 

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Belarusian officials met with the Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the UAE A. Nuaimi, Minister of State for Food Security of the UAE M. Al-Mheiri, other Emirati officials to discuss the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of food supplies.

On February 22, 2021 the Ambassador of Belarus to the UAE Andrei Luchenok and the staff of the Embassy attended the festive opening of the Belarusian exposition, further discussed the prospects of increasing the supply of Belarusian-made food products to the markets of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
