On the video meeting with the UAE Ministry of Education

On January 19, 2022 with the participation of the Embassy of Belarus in the UAE the first meeting of the working group of the Ministry of Education of the UAE and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was held in video format.

From the Belarusian side the video meeting was attended by Andrey Krasutsky, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education of Belarus, Dr. Valery Golubovsky, Rector of the Republican Institute of Vocational Education, Dr. Lyudmila Kozhukhovskaya, Vice-Rector for International and Scientific and Methodological Work of the Republican Institute of Higher Education and other representatives of the Belarusian education sector.

The Emirates side was represented by Dr. Hassan Al Mheiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Licensing and Quality Sector, Dr. Ahmed Alawar, Director of the Institute of Applied Technology and other representatives of the UAE Ministry of Education.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of mutual recognition of certificates on education, the introduction of an Arabic language training program in Belarusian schools, the creation of summer camps for Emirati students in Belarus and the exchange of experience in the field of vocational education.

The parties expressed their readiness to intensify joint activities in order to bring the Belarusian-Emirati cooperation to a new level.
