On the Belarusian pavilion at international school “The Pearl Academy” in Abu Dhabi

On March 17, 2023, as part of the International Day, a Belarusian pavilion was arranged at international school “The Pearl Academy” in Abu Dhabi.

During the festive event its participants got acquainted with the history of Belarus, the meaning of the national symbols of the country and Belarusian cuisine. The Belarusian Lyavonikha dance was performed, as well as all the guests of the pavilion were presented with memorable souvenirs with Belarusian symbols.

At the end of the festive event the school principal Barbara Heaton was presented with a souvenir from the Belarusian Embassy – a hand-made Belarusian musical instrument balalaika.

The event was arranged by the representatives of the Belarusian diaspora in the UAE with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the UAE.
